Kellie Kathleen McCall

Kellie Kathleen McCall age 54 of Ashaway, RI passed away on September 4th, 2024, surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the wife of David Dumsar of Hope Valley, RI. Kellie has worked for Kay Dee Designs since 1999. She held many different positions through out the company with the most recent being the accounting manager. Aside from her full-time job, she raised her two children, and was the president of the HVWFD Auxiliary. Her time with the auxiliary made her the happiest of all being able to give back to the community. She would help organize food drives, coat drives, and adopting families around Christmas just to name a few. Kellie was the type of person to help anyone who was in need, even if she didn’t have it. Kellie loved spending time with friends going to paint nights, trivia at the local Wood River Inn, cruises, shopping, out to dinner, bingo, etc. She showed us that family wasn’t just about blood, but the people you surround yourself with that love you unconditionally no matter what. Kellie also had a love for her nieces & nephews as if they were her own, but her love for her great nieces, great nephews, grandchildren, and extended grandchildren was like no other. Her princess Michaela (Mickey) & her grandson Quinten could do no wrong, but she spoiled all of them as equally as she could. Kellie had the BIGGEST heart and she showed that with each and every one of her family members and friends, even when they didn’t deserve it. Kellie is pre-deceased by her parents George McCall and Claire (Kenney) McCall both of Hope Valley, RI, her grandparents John McCall and Dorothy “Edna” (Sherman) McCall bothof Rockville, RI, her uncles David Kenney of West Warwick, RI, and her brother-in-law Charles (Charlie) Cahoon of Hope Valley, RI. She is survived by her two children Kayla McCall and Anthony Dumsar of Ashaway, RI, her aunt Darlene (McCall) Kennedy and her husband Pat Kennedy of Windsor, CT, her brother Timothy McCall and his wife Christy Cahoon of Richmond, RI, her sister Melissa McCall and her significant other Hank Holland of Alton, RI, her two grandchildren Quinten Fleck and Lucille Havey both of Ashaway, her many nieces and nephews Courtney Cahoon (Charlestown), Hannah Cahoon (Bradford), Amanda Place (Hope Valley), Rebecca (Cahoon) Clarke (Richmond), James McCall (Richmond), Joshua Flint (Hope Valley), Krista Gaccione (Richmond), Jared Gaccione (Warwick), Adrianna Gaccione (Warwick), and her great nieces, nephews, and extended grandchildren Lillyana, Charley, Colbey, Wesson, Vera,Jettsa, Iyla, Michaela, Jayden, and Joey. There will be Celebration of Life and a private Graveside Service held at a later date.
