In Loving Memory of Cindy Jean Chabot It is with deep love and gratitude that we celebrate the beautiful life of Cindy Jean Chabot of 17 Cul-de-sac Drive, Richmond, Rhode Island — a woman whose bright and loving spirit touched all who had the joy of knowing her. Cindy’s journey was one of laughter, creativity, and a boundless love for her family and the simple, shining moments that made life so full. Cindy is lovingly survived by her husband, John Raymond Chabot, and her cherished children, Steven John Chabot and his partner Barry Pelletier of Coventry, RI, as well as Sharon Marie Grande and her husband Louis William Grande of Lincoln, RI. Her light continues to glow through her beloved grandchildren — Emma-Leigh Gardiner, Sydni Marina Gardiner, and Sadie Chabot-Ireland — each of whom brought her endless joy and pride. She also leaves behind her devoted siblings, Sue and Curt Girard, and Stephen and Lorraine Buchanan, along with many nieces and nephews who will forever remember her warmth, laughter, and generous heart. Cindy’s life was a tapestry of wonder and adventure. She found beauty in quiet corners — the turning of a good book’s page, the satisfaction of a puzzle piece falling perfectly into place, the thrill of floating among the clouds in a hot air balloon. She was most at peace by the ocean she loved so deeply — walking the shoreline, the wind in her hair, or gliding across the water on a boating trip with family, her laughter mingling with the rhythm of the waves. Whether camping beneath the stars or crafting something beautiful with her hands, Cindy greeted life with curiosity, joy, and an open heart. More than anything, she will be remembered for the love she gave so freely. Her family was her anchor, her home her haven, and her kindness her lasting gift to the world. Though Cindy’s earthly voyage has come to rest, her spirit sails on — as radiant as a sunrise over calm waters, as free as a balloon rising into a boundless sky. May her laughter echo in the sea breeze, her love shimmer in every wave, and her memory forever guide those she leaves behind — steady and true, like the tide returning home
