Christopher Lee Klinger, 47, passed away peacefully on July 16, 2025, at his home in West Warwick, Rhode Island, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 20, 1977, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Christopher lived many years in California and Las Vegas, Nevada, before making Rhode Island his home. He was a devoted husband, son, father, and grandfather who found his greatest joy in spending time with his family and making everyone laugh. Christopher always had a practical joke planned, leaving us with lasting memories of his humor. Christopher was a lifelong Green Bay Packers fan who never missed a game, and he enjoyed watching NASCAR races and hunting. He was happiest when grilling outside with his family, creating countless memories around the backyard barbecue. On warm summer nights, he was often found on the front porch making friends with a new neighbor or just enjoying a New England sunset. As a loving Papa to his grandchildren Addison and Noah, he brought warmth and laughter to every gathering. He could often be found sneaking candy to his grandchildren or sleeping on the couch with them, watching cartoons. He was also a devoted caretaker to his beloved dogs, Charlie and Buddy who will miss him very much. Christopher is survived by his mother, Barbara Malone; his devoted wife, Joyce (Lange) Klinger; his daughters, Haelie Mccoy and Natalie Klinger; his stepdaughter, Courtney Gaudencio; and his stepson, Jeffrey Wyatt. He is also survived by his brother James Kinger and his family, and his sister Nina Linares and her family. He was a cherished Papa to Addison and Noah. His legacy of love and laughter extends to many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Christopher was predeceased by his father Patrick John Klinger and brother Eric Fernandez. Christopher's memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His love for family, his passion for sports, and his generous spirit will be deeply missed but never forgotten. He will be remembered most for his undying love for his wife, whom he affectionately called his Queen, his love of cooking, and his ability to start a conversation with anyone he met. In accordance with Christopher's wishes, he will be cremated, and no traditional service will be held. In lieu of flowers, please honor Christopher by enjoying a piece of your favorite candy, preferably a Starburst or Skittles, and think of a happy memory that you shared with him. Bonus points if it's enjoyed from a comfortable recliner with an ice cold Cherry Pepsi, just as Christopher often did.
