Terence A. Costa, Sr.

Terence A. Costa Sr., 74, passed away peacefully February 7, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Ina (Driscoll) Costa; loving husband of Margaret “Peggy” (Gonsalves) Costa; devoted father of Terence Costa Jr. and Melanie Costa (Kimberly); cherished grandfather of Maysen, Meadow, Chase and Harley. Terence served for the United States Army as a Medic and was a Vietnam War Veteran. After his time served, he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Providence College and began a career with the City of Providence Fire Department as firefighter. He retired as the Supervisor of the Providence Fire Department repair shop. When not working, Terence enjoyed his time with his family. Especially any activity being outdoors or in his own backyard with his cherished grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
